FUCK OFF series

It's been fun watching the FUCK OFF series grow over the course of 2026. Honestly I never thought it would become "a thing" when I painted the first one over a decade ago.

One day in 2016 I got back home after a not-so-good-rehearsal in the theatre. I instinctively picked up NEON PINK and the words FUCK OFF came forth. It was my way of channeling the yucky energy into something fun and I started smiling instead. A few days later I had finished all the layers and put it up on the wall in my rental. I loved it!

When that painting found its home 6 months ago, I felt something missing in my new studio. I decided to make a series of post cards and a few more originals. Over the summer the new originals found their homes. So, today I shared a few more originals in the webshop.

These paintings represent a lot of layers in our daily lives & ooze great energy off the wall. For one they serve as gatekeepers from bitter people with no humor, souls stuck in a lack-of-mentality. The paintings are made for people who believe in a positive attitude towards life, bouncing off nay-sayers.

Each painting is also a reminder of our own capacity of turning any "meh-situation" into something great in the long run. Energy never dies, that is the first lesson in physics - it just transforms into something else. How do you choose to use your energy today? If we acknowledge what is (no spiritual bypassing or fake smiles) & alchemize in our own unique way, every emotion ultimately ends with joy, calm, peace & a graceful smile.

When sorrow & anger are suppressed they get stuck in our bodies & spirits. After a good cry comes release. After rain comes sun. The FUCK OFF-series are for bold souls with their heART on their sleeves, wishing to lead a life of integrity, badassery & authenticity.
