Silver is connected to the moon and stimulates the depth of the soul. Sterling silver is an alloy where out of 1000 parts, at least 925 parts consists of silver. The other 75 is copper and other metals that make a perfect sturdiness so the jewelry so it can stand the test of time. Oxidized silver has a coating on top that blackens the silver and wears off over time and can be re-oxidized as desired.
